“Following evidence compiled through two decades and comprising personal testimonies and performance reports, the Board is pleased to be able to approve this appointment. Ta Dur Duzh Ik Bhazh is an intelligence officer of outstanding calibre and dedication. They have continued to meaningfully build on their experience of hostile conditions and, although it is hoped that there will not be future requirements for long-term deep subterfuge missions, their exemplary performance as 'Agnostino Serpico' assures the Board of their merit in the execution and teaching of espionage at the highest level.”

“Ta Dur Duzh Ik Bhazh Rel
“Ta Dur Duzh Ik infiltrated the Elysian Empire during the early stages of the war. Files released publicly by the Military Intelligence Division in 770PE attest to their contribution to intelligence operations both before and after their internment on b-Exagora. The story is of note in that, whilst a captive Tel employed by the Tel military, the Elysian authorities were unaware of their nationality and they were convicted simply on a charge of gaining access to confidential government data.
“Whilst captive, they seem to have maintained the illusion. Contemporaneous records indicate that they were active in 'Workgroup Zero' and contributed to the discovery of both the biological WMD and to the eventual escape logistics. There was some reticence in the Tel refugees who survived to reach LanDriChin as to whether 'Agnostino Serpico' was trustworthy, since for the duration of their internment they were known to be an Elysian political prisoner. However, the Military Intelligence Division lauded their achievements and they were promptly re-employed in positions of responsibility regarding wartime operations. Press reports from the year that the 6-0-SPD ship reached LanDriChin imply that Ta Dur Duzh Ik helped enable the Reformist movements. They are believed to have testified as to the good character of the Elysian inmates who were released to become active in the Elysian political landscape of the latter war years. Records beyond 666PE are scanty, as they returned to espionage. Their post-war career, including their significant contribution to Tel intervention in the Consortium Fuel Crisis of 780PE and rise to Director of Internal Affairs, is beyond the scope of this book.
“Due to their extensive interplanetary travel, they died in 813PE. At the time they had not yet retired and it is believed that they were on active duty and in good health. There was short-lived and there were minor speculation in financial and political commentaries as to the cause of death. The latter stages of their career, including the reason for their death, remains a matter of state secrecy and will not be released publicly by the Military Intelligence Division until 913PE.”
