Mu Tsag Puk Dya Dro

Character Name: Mu Tsag Puk Dya Dro

Qualities:

  • Combat (+2)
  • Melee Combat (+2)
  • Cybernetic Enhancements (+0)
  • Cyberweapon, Melee (+2) - blades along her forearms.
  • Tough Cookie (+3, cybernetic)
  • Stealth (+2)
  • Unnoticeable (+2)
  • Tel (-1)
  • Enemy (-2) - Zhar Ro

Background:

A Tel assassin, she found herself on the run from the Tel law enforcement after a botched mission to take out Zhar Ro. Taking advantage of the breakdown in diplomatic relations, she headed to the Elysian Empire, since they were unlikely to extradite her. While this was true, they were more than happy to throw her into the prison system with the rest of the Tel when the war broke out. Worse still, she ended up in the same prison as Zhar Ro, and he holds a grudge - which is clearly unreasonable given that she'd gain nothing from killing him any more.

Gang Affiliation: None

Criminal Profile:

Mu Tsag was an assassin, operating within the Tel empire, where she quickly gained a reputation for subtlety and efficiency in her missions. When diplomatic relations between the Elysians and the Tel broke down, she took the opportunity to head to the Elysian Empire to hide from the Tel authorities. In the end, this just meant she got rounded up with the other Tel when the war broke out.

Note: She has bladed weapons integrated into her forearms, and is very proficient in their use. Approach with caution.

Abena Yakudu

Character Name: Abena Yakudu

Qualities:

  • Combat (+2)
  • Medicine (+2)
  • Technology (+2)
  • Cybernetic Engineering (+2)
  • Cybernetic Enhancements (0)
  • Cybernetic Utility (+2) - Medical tools
  • Polyglot - Telbau (+2)
  • Connections (+1) - Benedict Greco
  • Gang Standing (+2) - True Elysians
  • Addiction (-2) - Bliss
  • Bullet Magnet (-3)

Background:

A medic in the Elysian military, Abena was very good at her job, despite her tendency to wind up injured about as often as the combat personnel under her care. Despite being an idealist in her youth, when she even taught herself to speak and understand Telbau in the hopes of working as a diplomat (before deciding instead to train as a doctor) the war has hardened Abena, her youthful idealism long-since faded into a hatred of the enemy who have injured and killed so many of her comrades.

She was dishonourably discharged from the military, in fact, following an incident in which she was responsible for the death of a number of casualties due to withholding treatment when she claimed she heard them speaking Telbau to each other. That in itself might not have been considered particularly blameworthy, if not for the fact that during the subsequent investigation it emerged that not only was this not the first such incident, but in addition, Abena had been using a substantial quantity of the illicit mind-altering drug Bliss - to help her focus, or so she claimed. Drug use combined with negligence (there being no proof that the dead soldiers had in fact been Tel, beyond Abena's - now suspect - testimony) amounted to criminal charges sufficient to get her incarcerated.

In the prison, Abena quickly gravitated to the True Elysians, where she found herself welcome for her medical skills as much as her political leanings - an efficient professional capable of handling both organic and cybernetic damage without objecting to how those injuries were recieved being an invaluable asset. She has also made use of her medical background to get herself regularly assigned to assist in the medical bay, where she has developed a rapport with the Doctor (largely in the hope of occasionally managing to gain unsupervised access to the medical supply cupboards).

Gang Affiliation: True Elysians

Criminal Profile:

A trained solider and committed medic, proficient in both cybernetic repairs and standard organic medicine, Abena Yakudu was a valuable member of the Elysian military prior to her discharge and arrest, with a long service record despite multiple injuries sustained in the line of duty. Even the Bliss habit which eventually resulted in her dismissal from the military initially developed due to her use of the drug as an aid to focus in her work.

She also has cybernetic medical tools implanted in her left arm, of which she has been allowed to retain full use.

Felippe Santori

Character Name: Felippe Santori

Qualities:

  • Technology (+2)
  • Investigation (+2)
  • Polyglot - Telbau (+2)
  • Research (+1)
  • Hacking (+2)
  • Unnoticeable (+2)
  • False Imprisonment (+1)
  • Glass Cannon (-3)
  • Not suited to prison life (-3)

Background:
Felippe Santori was a dedicated technological researcher at the prestigious University of Prima. Unfortunately his career was cut short when he was forced to take the fall for the brutal murder of his colleague Sandra. A Family elder convinced him that losing his freedom was better than losing his lungs. To this day he still doesn't know who actually murdered her.

Gang Affiliation:
Felippe has been given a place in the Coalition of Political Prisoners. This was partly because they found his research and language skills useful, and partly out of pity.

Criminal Profile:
Not much is known about Felippe other than his conviction of murder 6 years ago. A very nasty case that. You wouldn't have thought it possible from someone who looks as unassuming as he does. Though he has spent most of his time in the facility in the medical bay. He's probably lying low.

Faith Sarendon

Character Name: Faith Sarendon

Qualities:

  • Technology +2
  • Engineering +2
  • Medicine +2
  • Investigation +2
  • Planning + 1
  • Research +1
  • Mystery Flaw -3
  • Snitch -2
  • Cybernetic Engineering +2
  • Mental Resilience +3

Background:
Faith is a studious over-achiever who grew up with strict parents. Even researching new bioengineering mechanisms did not quell her desire for mental challenges. She always felt uncomfortable socialising with confidence tricksters and their shady associates, but the thrill of using her know-how to pull off technological tricks and profit from them really appealed to her. It was how she funded her DPhil!

Gang Affiliation:
In Redemption Reform Facility, she has found acceptance by Nexus. She doesn't have a cybernetic enhancement herself, but this is only because she has spent years debating what to get, and doesn't want to rush the decision. Although she lacks a cybernetic implant, Nexus accepts her for her devotion to the study of biotechnology and her helpful assistance with malfunctions. She really needs their protection, as she has recently been outed as a snitch, so she tries really hard to please them.

Criminal Profile:
Faith “Faithless” Sarendon is from Prima, where she studied bioengineering. She became involved in crime rings after completing her doctoral research, and she was under suspicion for involvement in cons and fraud before her arrest. She was charged with illegally tampering with a mark's cybernetic vision-enhancing device in order to obtain inside information on security codes.

Julia Rey Dyer

Character Name: Julia Rey Dyer

  • Medicine (+2)
  • Technology (+2)

  • Combat (+2)
  • Melee Combat (+2)
  • Bullet Magnet (-3)
  • Stealth (+2)
  • Mystery Flaw (-3)
  • Theft (+2)
  • Unnoticeable (+2)

Background:
Julia was a member of a rebel group from a non-planetary colony who signed up to the Elysian army for the purpose of sabotage and information gathering. She transmitted all the information she found back to her group of insurgents. During her time there she performed duties as a medic, learning about the cybernetic enhancements the government were designing for the war effort and passing plans back. Her basic training also included combat. She was caught when she was betrayed by a comrade, who sold her out for immunity for himself, and she is still bitter and angry about it.

In the prison, she swiftly joined the Coalition of Political Prisoners, and is a vocal advocate of violent revolution. She regularly starts disputes with the guards over their cruel methods of control and frequently gets thrown in solitary but never seems to learn.

Gang Affiliation:
Julia is part of the Coalition of Political Prisoners. She's a controversial figure within the group due to her hard-line stance, believing that the only answer to the corruption of the Council is a violent revolution.

Criminal Profile:
Julia Rey Dyer was convicted for espionage for a rebel group from one of the non-planetary colonies. From her position as a medic in the Elysian military, she stole government designs and information of their military plans and gave it to criminal insurgents. It is unknown quite how she avoided detection for so long within the military unit, but it is reported by fellow soldiers that Julia was the type of person who simply faded into the background, quietly getting on with her work.

During her time in prison she has joined the Coalition of Political Prisoners.
