“…at this time, a malicious self-replicating programme, designed to collect and relay information remotely from a range of sensory cybernetics, is believed to have been spread extensively through the population and the computer systems of the Research Facility. The designer is said to have been a Tel-born, naturalised Elysian citizen named Xix Chil Ah Tohr Kai. An inmate by this name certainly existed, and in other sources is referenced by his work as a medic. No contemporary accounts exist of the 'virus', which may have been developed at a later stage by the Tel who escaped b-Exagora and attributed to the inmate named Xix Chil Ah Tohr Kai retrospectively…”

Grieving family brought news of missing war son
Last week a visitor, who had reportedly traveled three systems to our town, brought news to relatives of Xix Chil Ah Tohr Kai Shre. Xix Chil Ah Tohr can be remembered as one of the 560s births who went on to study off-planet, eventually leaving for the Elysian Empire. No news was obtained of his whereabouts during the war. Desperate requests for information on possible detention were unsuccessful. Now, we can reveal that Xix Chil Ah Tohr was indeed detained by the Elysian government in its 'defensive' anti-Tel programme at the outbreak of the war, and we can reveal the exact prisoner of war camp - none other than the infamous bioweapon testing site, Redemption! Unfortunately, he did not survive to escape from the camp. The name of the messenger has not been made public. His family says, “We appreciate privacy at this difficult time.” No doubt the district council will be considering a suitable plaque soon!
