“The first examples of Cybernetic Resurrection were created in 696PE by Athena Ibsen and Doc Harmony. Although, it is worth noting that resurrection is perhaps a misnomer in these early cases. The very first created could fall more comfortable under the title of the first fully cybernetic lifeform, utilising organic tissue and technological advances to create an Artificial Intelligence that mimicked the personality of an individual known as Charles Richards (thought to be the body guard of Athena Ibsen during her time on b-Exagora). Even so, the technology became swiftly popular, with people paying millions for 'revived' copies of their loved ones. This began a macabre trend that was abandoned decades later as it became increasingly clear that these replicas were never fully representative of the person they were attempting to resurrect. In particular there appeared to be no moral understanding in individuals 'resurrected'.
