Mortimer Sykes was formerly a prodigious doctor on Nephilim-12, before accusations of criminal malpractice sent him into the hands of the law. Whilst ordinarily the sentence for such crimes would be a full 15-year penal stint, Sykes is only due to serve out his time for a decade, sparking rumours that he may have left evidence incriminating colleagues in return for a commuted sentence.
 
Whilst his frail physical form may not present any obvious threat, guards are warned that Sykes’ intellect and technological know-how make him a force to be reckoned with, should he be left to his own devices
